Students cannot apply for the UEL postgraduate scholarship if they are studying with a collaborative partner institution, studying through distance or online learning, Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), a Professional Diploma in March architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2), professional doctorate, MPhil, Ph.D., and integrated masters. In addition, MA Social Work students are also not eligible to apply if they receive government funding. - Courses that are delivered online or via distance learningÂ
- Postgraduate courses delivered at the University’s partner institution
- PGCE courses

- Integrated master’s degrees
- Postgraduate research degrees including MPhil, PhD • Professional Doctorates.
- MA Social Work students in receipt of government funding.

- An application form is available on the UEL website. Decisions are based on the quality of the student’s application.
- Applications will be assessed internally by a relevant member of staff. All decisions are final.Â
- The University will notify successful applicants of the provisional outcome via email.
- Scholarships will only be confirmed once our admissions team issues an unconditional offer. All other communications will be sent by email.
- There are a limited number of scholarships available. This will be awarded based on the merit of applications and other internal allocation criteria agreed annually. The University is under no obligation to award all scholarships, should the quality of the applications be insufficient.
- Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.Â
- Due to the large number of scholarship applications received annually, we are unable to offer individual feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
