Applications are invited for the VLIR-UOS Scholarships in Belgium for the academic year 2025-2026. This is a great opportunity for students who want to pursue their higher education in Belgium. The international scholarship is open to students of 30 countries, including Asia Africa and Latin America. There is also good news for women because preferences will be given to women participants. 50 percent scholarship is offering to the African students. The Belgium Scholarship will be provided to half of the African students.
This year, ICP connect scholarship is open for Master’s and bachelor’s degrees. All the study programs are taught in English at one or more flemish universities or universities of Applied Sciences and Arts. VLIR-OUS is offering full scholarship for 20 different programs, out which 5 are new programs. ICP programs will help students become leaders and change agents in their respective field, contributing to societal transformation across different sector. this fully funded scholarship in Belgium will broaden the opportunity for international students to study in Flanders Belgium. VLIR-UOS scholarship 2025 is for developing countries. They offered full duration master’s program for the duration of 12 to 24 months and for bachelors degree it will cover 2 years of education. Candidates cannot apply for partial scholarship or extension while receiving these fully funded European scholarships.

Duration:
VLIR-OUS Scholarships will cover the full duration Study Program and the period of this scholarship are 12, 24, or 36 months.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates need to meet the following requirements.
- Candidates for a bachelor or initial master program cannot be older than 35 as of 1 January of the intake year, while candidates for an advanced master cannot be older than 45. Additionally, candidates for a bachelor program must be at least 19 years old by 1 January of the intake year.
- Applicants must hold nationality in one of the 30 Eligible countries they must reside in any of these countries at the time of application.
- Candidates’ motivation and professional goals must reflect their competence in transferring knowledge/skills or setting up extension activities and highlighting themes relevant to sustainable development and pertinent to the study programme
- Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a greater chance of implementing and/or transferring newly gained knowledge/skills upon completion in a sustainable development context, such as in the higher education sector, government, civil society or the private sector, thereby contributing to positive societal change.
- A balance between male and female candidates awarded ICP Connect scholarships is targeted. VLIRUOS strongly encourages female candidates to apply.
Deadline:
There is no separate deadline for VLIR-OUS Scholarship Program in Belgium. Each program has a different deadline.
