European Commission has offered a 5-month traineeship program for graduates who have completed their 3-year degree program. Twice a year European Commission has offered a traineeship program to young graduates. European Commission has named this traineeship a Blue Tick Traineeship program and offers a chance for dedicated participants to be involved in various activities of Administration and translatory activities as these traineeships have been offered in these two fields. Trainees will work all over the European Commission, its services, and agencies, mostly in Brussels, but also in Luxembourg and elsewhere across the European Union.

Candidates having an innovative mindset and a creative approach toward solving the problem of European nations or European Union matters can apply for the European Commission Traineeship program for the academic year 2024. Candidates must have a good knowledge of German, English, or French as the primary language of European unions. Candidates must be citizens of European Union countries anyhow some non-European Union countries can also apply for this traineeship program.

Fields of Traineeship:
There are two main fields for the European Union traineeship Program:
- Administrative Traineeship
- Translation Traineeship

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates need to meet the following criteria for the Blue Book Traineeship Program:
- All EU or Non-EU students can apply for Traineeship Program
- Candidates must have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree (minimum EQF 6 level), corresponding to a complete Bachelor’s cycle, or equivalent.
- Have good knowledge of at least two EU Languages one of it must be working language
- Non-EU candidates only required one language at C1 or C2 level
Benefits:
European Union Traineeship Program will cover the following benefits:
- Trainees will receive €1300 monthly stipend
- For non-EU citizens organizations also cover visa costs that are necessarily required
- Medical insurance will also be provided”
- Transportation or travel costs if required will also be covered by the Blue tick.
Duration:
The duration of the traineeship will be 5 months with 40 hours of work per week and 8 hours per day. The daily working hours also depend upon the workload of the units in the EU.
Registration:
Registration for the Blue Book Traineeship= Program of October 2024 session will be started on 19th February 2024

- Candidates need to register themselves on the Blue Tick Portal after the commencement of the October 2024 registration session
- Add Basic Information
- Upload all the supporting documents
- You will receive the Virtual Blue tick instructions follow them for the correct procedure
- You do not have to complete the entire form in a single session. You can save your entries and log in later to make changes and submit your application using your username and password. You can also preview your application form in a printer-friendly pdf format anytime during the application period.
