Eligibility Criteria:

The FAO Young Talent Internship Program has the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Age: Applicants should be between 21 and 30 years of age.
  2. Education: Applicants should be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate or post-graduate degree program in a field relevant to the work of the FAO (e.g. agriculture, forestry, fisheries, economics, rural development, environmental studies).
  3. Language proficiency: Applicants should have a good command of at least one of the working languages of the FAO (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Russian), and preferably a working knowledge of another.
  4. Nationals: Applicants should be nationals of FAO member countries.
  5. Professional experience: While not required, preference may be given to applicants with relevant professional experience.
  6. Availability: Selected interns should be available to work in Rome or at other FAO locations for a period of internship.
