A new and updated reform has been launched by the Higher Education Commission for the students who are going to take admissions at the undergraduate level. The Higher Education Commission Viz Education Testing Council will conduct the Undergraduate Test USAT for undergraduate universities operating all over Pakistan.
The purpose of USAT is to prepare students for future struggles and opportunities. USAT is designed on Scholastic Aptitude Test SAT will be according to the pattern and will cover all well-known disciplines of engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, IT, Management, and Social Sciences at the undergraduate entry level. Students who will be qualified for their respective USAT would stand eligible to all relevant universities like SAT.

Qualifying Score:
Any score equal to or above 50 scores will be considered qualified for a USAT score and the highest or perfect score is 100.
How to prepare:
All test syllabus will be from the respective course of the applicant’s field, so it is advised to the candidates to go through well and test include the following syllabus:

Students who have passed higher secondary School certificate HSSC or equivalent Grade 12 can apply
Students who have appeared in the final examination and awaiting results.
Deadline for Online Registration:
12th August 2022 is the deadline for online registration.
Test Schedule:
The test will be held on August 28, 2022, tentatively.
Frequency of Test:
USAT will be taken quarterly in major cities of Pakistan simultaneously however ig there is a need for more tests taken than can be arranged. The yearly test calendar will be updated on the ETC website. Candidates may register themselves there.
Weightage and Merit base formula:
Universities are allowed to behave independently as they can announce their admissions anyhow they have to demand USAT and accept USAT ( category) ETC score cards for the weightage base merit to determine the formula.
How to Apply:
Candidates who are going to apply for USAT must register themselves on the ETC website

- After signing up code will be sent to your registered cell phone number and email id
- After signing up fill out the application form in which subject or field you are going to appear in USAT

- Incomplete and unsubmitted applications will not be entertained
Fee structure
1200 fee will be taken from the candidates which they have to submit in Habib Bank Limited
Account no 17242 7900 133401 Title of account Higher education Commission.
Candidates have to put scanned challan while registering for the test. And it is only available at ETC online registration portal.
