Applications open twice each year one at the start and the other in the middle of the year so interested candidates are advised not to miss this opportunity as scholarships are open now and it will be closed in the middle of November. These scholarships are sponsored by the Minerva Scholarship Fund at Leiden University. Since 2009, the Minerva Scholarship Fund Foundation (MSF) has provided Leiden University students of all disciplines with scholarships for exceptional or prestigious study and research projects abroad. In particular, the MSF strives to fund exceptional and exclusive student projects abroad. The Minerva Scholarship Fund is an initiative of the Leiden Minerva Student Association.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates need to meet the following criteria for the Leiden University Scholarships:
- You are registered as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student at Leiden University.
- You do not need to be a member of L.S.V. Minerva.
- The application pertains to an exceptional or prestigious study or research project abroad.
- The project falls into one of the following categories: internship, study or research. PhD tracks and complete Master programs are not eligible.
- Within three months of the end of the project, you must submit a project report with accompanying images.
