Eligibility Criteria:
Obama Foundation is seeking applications from potential candidates from all over the world who meet the following criteria: You can also study in Canada
- Candidates from 54 eligible nations can apply
- The age of candidates must be in between 26 to 45 years
- Candidates should show potential and are emerging leaders in their respective surrounding
- Candidates must show some commitment towards their community and have some proof of it
- Candidates must be fluent in speaking, and learning English
- Candidates should have the ability and inclination to shape the future of their community positively
- Â Priority will be given to applicants who have not enrolled at Columbia University.Â
Scholarship Benefits:
Candidates will get the following benefits from the Obama Foundation Scholarship Program:
- Monthly stipend to assist with living expenses in New York City
- A furnished studio apartment within walking distance of Columbia University
- All tuition and fees for up to four courses at Columbia University
- Basic medical, dental, and life insurance for the duration of the program in New York City
- Air travel to and from home country and any program-related activities
