Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship Program is named after Major-General Georges P. Vanier, the first francophone Governor General of Canada. VCGS has invited highly qualified or doctorate students from Canadian institutions. These Canadian Institutes have specific quotas for the Vanier Canadian Scholarship Program. And this quota is for the whole 3 years. Almost 160 candidates will be selected for the CVGS program in top Canadian institutes. Almost 50,000$ will be awarded to the candidates for the 3 years research program in different institutes in Canada. Candidates must have excellent academic records and have potential for leadership qualities.
Both Canadian residents and Foreign students are eligible for the CVGS Program and candidates first must consult with the nominating institution and then apply for it. Candidates should only seek a nomination from the institution at which they want to study.
