The Japanese government is offering a fully funded Master’s and PhD study program at the YNU. MEXT will offer a stipend to the selected students as well as also cover the tuition fee and monthly expenses in Japan. MEXT is also intended to provide multiple other benefits to the students. Candidates will selected on their academic achievement and research potential will be assessed from the academic documents, recommendation letter, and field of interest. The age of candidates must be 34 or less for eligibility to the MEXT scholarship Program. YNU is offering these scholarships for the fall semester 2025 .

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates need to meet the following requirements for the MEXT YNU Scholarship Program 2025:
- Candidates must have the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan
- Candidates must be born on or after 2 April 1990
- Candidates must be able to arrive in Japan before the April 2025 fall semester
- Candidates with good academic records of Bachelor’s and Master’s can apply for the master’s and PhD programs respectively
- Candidates must have English proficiency certificates (IELTS, TOEFL)
