Students who are pursuing their bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science or Engineering-related disciplines can apply for attachments of two to six months in duration. Candidates who are interested in the Singapore International Graduate Awards must read the requirements before applying. There are multiple research areas in which scholarships have been announced by the Singapore A star Agency.
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU). PhD training is carried out in English at a student’s chosen lab at A*STAR research institutes and NTU/NUS/SUTD/SMU. Upon successful completion, students are conferred a PhD degree by either NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU.

The following Coverage will be provided for the Singapore Pre Graduate Scholarship Program: Are you interested to study in Japan?
- Monthly stipend of $2,000
SIPGA awardees must complete an online SIPGA Attachment Report at least 3 weeks before the end of the attachment.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates need to meet the following criteria for the Singapore Pre Graduate Scholarship Program: Junior Fellowship in Sweden
- Open to international 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses
- Obtained/on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for bachelor’s degree
- Students must remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong interest in a research career
- Candidates can apply up to three projects

iii. Complete academic transcripts of your bachelor’s and master’s (if applicable) degree. Please ensure that the transcripts are in English or translated to English.

Applications are open year-round. Please note that your intended attachment start date must be at least four (4) months from the date of application, and the last date to apply for the Singapore Pre-Graduate Scholarship Program is 30th November 2024.

Application Process:

- Candidates need to apply up to three Projects for the Scholarship Program
- Attach all the Supporting Documents along with application
- The A*STAR researcher will contact shortlisted applicants for an online interview. Please note that only applicants who are shortlisted will be notified.
- Successful applicants will generally be notified within 2 months from the interview date.
