World Bank Group’s Young Professional Program is a 2-year contractual leadership program that will lead to the 5 years employment opportunity for dedicated and professional candidates. This program will be held in Washington D.C and selected candidates will e trained under mentors and experienced persons that are already working in WBG Young Professional Program. Young Professionals will be allocated to different units depending upon their skills and expertise and there they will be expected to make specific contributions.
Young Professionals will be trained through special training and seminars. These trainings are about the development policies and operations of the World Bank, MIGA, and IFC. Global Rotations are a core component of the curriculum of World Bank Group, providing YPs the exposure to understand how our institutions work (and can work together) as well as how to align their skills to priority areas, like countries affected by fragility, conflict, and violence (FCV), and other challenging environments.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following criteria for the WBG YPP:
- For candidates born on or before October 1991, there is n flexibility on age requirements
- Candidates must be from WB members’ countries
- Candidates must have a doctorate or Masters degree
- Candidates must have specialized in the business field of World Bank YP
- Demonstrate professional experience or continuing of Doctoral degree
- Be fluent in English
