EWC has announced these scholarships for the students of Asia, the United States Pacific region for the fall semester of 2023. Applicants must have obtained 4 years of a Graduate degree from accredited US institutes or recognized international institutes. This is a golden opportunity for candidates who wanted to study in the United States of America. Prepare your documents and all necessary preparation for admission. To ensure the timely processing of your EWC application, supporting documents for both your UH admissions office and department applications must be completed by January 10, regardless of whether the UH departmental deadline falls after that date.

The EWC graduate degree has announced Masters’s and Ph.D. scholarships for graduate degrees. Candidates must have participated in educational, cultural, and residential community building, and leadership development programs at the EWC while pursuing graduate study. The EWC Graduate Degree Fellowship covers the cost of general tuition and fees for UHM graduate programs, books, housing in an EWC dormitory, and partial funding toward meals, health insurance, and incidental expenses. Additional funding for field study and conference presentations is offered on a competitive basis during the fellow’s period of study.

The University of Hawaii is a Flagship campus of the State University System and it was founded in 1907. It is located on 320 acres of Maona Valley. It is basically a research university offering bachelor’s degrees in 100 fields and Masters in 80 fields and a professional doctorate degree in 52 fields of studies. 19000 students enrolled each Semester at the University of Hawaii in which more than 5000 students are graduates. East-West Center and the University of Hawaii are two separate entities but united through several educational and fellowship programs and Graduate Degree Fellowship Program is one of them.

  • Candidates must have obtained a 3.00 CGPA out of 4 in the last graduate degree
  • English Proficiency certificate required for nonnative English speakers
