Applications are invited for the Fall and Spring intake Graduation Program at the Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship Program in Taiwan. Candidates who want to pursue their medical education in Taiwan can get this opportunity to study at Kaohsiung Medical University. This scholarship is fully funded and the candidates can get a full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, medical insurance, and multiple other benefits. A foreign resident who has not got ROC and who has not been in Taiwan can get the opportunity. 100 admissions will be taken for Undergraduate and graduate programs, and candidates with high academic profiles can get this opportunity.

Applicants who are interested in the KMU scholarship Program can apply online, different types of stipend will be provided to the candidates according to their qualification relevancy. There is no application fee required for the KMU scholarship program, anyhow candidates have to show 4000$ income statement for 6 months of at least NT$ 120,000 / US$4,000 or proof of the scholarship provided by a government agency, university, college, or private organization. Proof issued by agencies, companies, or individuals’ certificates are not accepted
Candidates who have done a bachelor’s in the relevant program can apply for a Master and candidates who have done Masters or more can apply for the Ph.D. program. Â KMU does not collaborate with any agents or consultants for the admissions process of international students, except for promoting admissions information and providing assistance with the necessary procedures related to studying in Taiwan. Program Duration:
The duration of a Masters’s program is one to 4 years in almost all fields while the doctorate degree will be of 2 to 7 years in almost all other fields.
Types of Scholarship:
Applicants who are interested in the Kaohsiung Medical University International Student Scholarship program should apply while simultaneously fulfilling the online application form. Every type of stipend includes different allowances as below:
- Type A: NTD 200,000 to 260,000 per year
- Type B: NTD 80,000 to 140,000 per year
- Type C: NTD 70,000 to 80,000 per year

- Candidates must have a senior high school diploma for the Undergraduate Program
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject to apply for master’s Program
- Candidates must have a Master’s or higher degree for applying in Doctorate
- Candidates must possess non-ROC nationality
- Candidates having a Degree must be recognized by the M.O.E and verified by the R.O.C
- PRC passport holders (Mainland Chinese Candidates) must apply through University Entrance Committee
- Candidates must have done English Proficiency exams IELTS/ TOEFL

Candidates can apply in the following steps for the KMU scholarship in Taiwan:
- Candidates must visit the official website
- Choose the program in which he is going to apply
- Register your account at the official website
- Candidates can apply for up to three programs
- Fill out all the 5 Appendix which is provided
- Print out at least two copies of the documents
- Sign the application form after carefully reading it
- Scan it and then upload it on the official website
- Submit it finally
- No Application fee is required
