Outstanding students who have extraordinary academic records can join the Master Mind Scholarship Program offered by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates will be able to study master’s Program in Belgium under this Scholarship. As the name demonstrates this scholarship is very competitive and only candidates with high intellectual ability will be selected and rewarded with this Scholarship Program for the academic year 2024- 2025.

 A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €10. 000 + a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS). Master Mind Scholarship holders only pay an administrative enrolment fee. The grant is paid in installments and covers accommodation costs, insurance, and a significant amount of their living expenses. If candidates are interested they need to first apply at the Flemish Host institutes and then they will be considered for the Master Mind Scholarship Program 2024-2025.

Duration:

The duration of mobility is one academic year for a master’s program of 60 ECTS and two academic years for a master’s program of 120 ECTS.

Eligiblity Criteria:

Candidates need to meet the following criteria for the Master Mind Scholarship Program in Belgium:

  • The applicant applies to take up a master’s degree program at a Flemish higher education institution.
  • The applicant should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential:
    1. The student has a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0
    2. The student has a good knowledge of the English language:
    3. An overall minimum band score of 7.0 on the IELTS test
    4. A minimum total score of 94 on a TOEFL test
    5. A C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference
    6. Or a similar result in another official language test (recognized by the host institution)
    7. Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL will also be accepted
    8. Students who apply for a master’s program at a school of arts have at least:
    9. An overall band score of a minimum of 6.5 on the IELTS test
    10. A minimum total score of 90 on the TOEFL test
    11. A B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference
    12. Or a similar result in another official English language test (recognized by the host institution)
    13. Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL will also be accepted

STEP 1 Check if you are eligible to apply and if the Flemish institution of your choice participates in the Master Mind Scholarships
STEP 2 Submit your application to the host institution
STEP 3 The host institution preselects the eligible applications
STEP 4 The host institution starts the application procedure for the Master Mind Scholarship by creating your application file in the Mobility-Online application tool
STEP 5 You receive an email generated by the Mobility-Online tool notifying you of being preselected for a Master Mind Scholarship
STEP 6 You register in the Mobility-Online tool and complete your application file in the Mobility-Online tool before the deadline.
