The Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Minnesota is awarded by the University Admission Office to highly intellectual and talented students as a part of the admission award package. Undergraduate Research Program URS will award the students who participated in research activities with faculty and give 120 hours to those students who will be selected under the Undergraduate Research Program. Eligiblity Criteria:

- Candidates need to get admission at the University of Minnesota for the eligiblity of Undergraduate Research Scholarships
- Candidates must have an English Proficiency certificate in case of non-native English speaker
- Candidates must intend to complete research within the given time period.
 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships for international students
URS Scholarship Funding:
The funding will be divided into two halves for the undergraduate Research Scholarship program: You can also study at the University of New Haven in USA
- 1400$ as a stipend will be provided for 120 research hours
- 700$ will be provided before the research, while the remaining will be awarded after the research
- 300$ will be given for the Miscellaneous expenses

There are not any specific deadlines for the URS program at the University of Minnesota, candidates can conduct their research when it is approved.
