Interpol offers internship programs for students and recent graduates who are interested in gaining experience in international police cooperation and criminal justice issues. To apply for an internship at Interpol, one must be enrolled in a university program or have graduated within the past six months. Fluency in English and at least one other official language of Interpol is required. Additionally, candidates should have a strong academic record and show a clear interest in criminal justice and international cooperation.
Applications should be submitted online through Interpol’s website. Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview and the internship duration can vary from two to six months. Interns will receive a stipend to cover living expenses during their stay in Lyon, France, where the Interpol headquarters are located.

As the head office of INTERPOL office is at Lyon Headquarters so the internship will take place there but the location can be changed accordingly.
The duration of internships depends upon the needs of hiring services and it will be in between six months to twelve months.

Remuneration of Internship:
Interns will receive a monthly allowance of 550 euros in Lyon which is adjusted for different duty stations.
To do an internship at INTERPOL, Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution within the past year on the date of submission of their application;
- Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s member countries;
- Have attained the legal age of majority in their country of nationality;
- Be fluent in English.
All the expenses of the recruitment process and subsequent travel, insurance accommodation, and other expenses will be covered by the intern himself.
No criminal certificates:
Candidates will inquire confidentially before selection, after selection candidates will have to provide a noncriminal certificate from their country or in which they are living for the past 5 years.
