University of New South Wales Scholarship Program

The goal of the program is to build Fellows’ capacity and skills in agro-entrepreneurship and agri-food system innovation and advance their ability to support women’s economic empowerment. Eligiblity Criteria:

Candidates need to follow the following criteria for the United States Department of State Professional Fellows Program:

  • 25-40 years old
  • A citizen, national, or permanent resident of Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe
  • Is living and working in Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe at the time of the application
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Has at least two years of professional/working experience in their field
  • Has demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills and a commitment to community development
  • Has employer’s support for participating in the program (for those not self-employed). For those self-employed, have recommendations from local authorities at the district and/or community levels

CSC Development Theme:

Commonwealth Scholarship Program will follow the following development themes :

Eligiblity Criteria:

To be considered for the Commonwealth Scholarship Program candidate must:  Study in Australia

  • Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country.
  • Show evidence that they are currently permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country. Candidates must have been living in an eligible Commonwealth country for two years before the date they submit their application, which must be clear within the application.
  • Not be registered for or have started a Ph.D., or an MPhil leading to a Ph.D. at a UK university before the start of the Scholarship and be available to start the Scholarship and academic studies in the UK in September/October 2024 (exact date to be agreed by the CSC). The Scholarship will not be offered to anyone who has already started their PhD in the UK before September 2024.
  • Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honors standard, or a lower second-class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree) by the time they apply for the Scholarship, with evidence of the degree to be submitted within the application.
  • Not have commenced or be currently registered for a PhD, or an MPhil leading to a PhD, in their home country or elsewhere.
  • Hold an unconditional offer or an offer conditional only on finance for the 2024 UK academic year from all of the UK universities listed on their application, to be submitted as part of the application.
  • Provide references from at least 2 individuals, in PDF format, signed and on institution letterhead or an email clearly showing the sender’s details.
  • Provide a supporting statement from a proposed supervisor from at least one of the UK universities listed in the application, in PDF format, signed and on institution letterhead or an email clearly showing the sender’s details.

Financial Coverage:

The scholars will get the following benefits from the Romanian Government Scholarship Program through the Foreign Ministry Affairs of Romania:

  • Candidates will get an exemption from the payment of registration fees or any other fees required by application processing, testing for the Romanian language skills, taking the admission contest for doctoral studies, and the specific aptitude tests;
  • Candidates will get financing for the tuition expenses for the Romanian language preparatory year
  • Candidates will also get financing for the tuition expenses for the actual studies, but not more than the duration of a university cycle, corresponding to the study program followed
  • The government will grant a monthly scholarship, for students enrolled in the Romanian language preparatory year;

  • Students will also get an exemption from the payment of the study visa fee.

Eligiblity Criteria:

University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship Program 2024-2025

For PhD:

The doctoral degree program will run for a period of 3 to 5 years depending on the profile of the chosen faculty and end with the presentation of a PhD thesis. Study in the Netherlands

In the case of a two-year master’s program, International students can receive an additional UTS of an amount equal to that in the first year to cover the expenses of the second year. The UNESCO ICT Prize in Education is inviting applications for its UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize Program for the use of ICT in education and multiple other projects. This year UNESCO ICT has a theme of digital learning of greening education. UNESCO ICT Prize in education is funded by the Kindom of Bahrain and it was established in 2005. The 2023 edition of the UNESCO ICT in Education Prize is dedicated to the theme “Digital learning for greening education”. It aims to surface and maximize the impact of best practices in leveraging digital technologies to develop competencies and forge an active commitment to sustainable development among learners.
